Effect of Globalization on Market Processes

Effect of Globalization on Market Processes This is the concept is well established in the current market process, Globalization is the international process and activities. Generally globalization means countries interrelated and integrated each and other. But academics and professionals provide different definition to globalization as follows, (Suny Levin institute) Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven byinternational tradeandinvestmentand aided byinformation technology. This process has effects on theenvironment, onculture, on political systems, oneconomic developmentand prosperity, and onhuman physical well-beingin societies around the world Ambassador Gà ©rard Stoudmann Globalization is a process that encompasses the causes, course, and consequences of transnational and Trans cultural integration of human and non-human activities.† Anthony McGrew’s Globalization [is] a process which generates flows and connections, not simply across nation-states and national territorial boundaries, but between global regions, continents and civilizations. This invites a definition of globalization as: ‘an historical process which engenders a significant shift in the spatial reach of networks and systems of social relations to transcontinental or interregional patterns of human organization, activity and the exercise of power. Sociologist Cesare Poppi â€Å"The literature stemming from the debate on globalization has grown in the last decade beyond any individual’s capability of extracting a workable definition of the concept. In a sense, the meaning of the concept is self-evident, in another, it is vague and obscure as its reaches are wide and constantly shifting. Perhaps, more than any other concept, globalization is the debate about it Generally, globalization has affected many nations in various ways; economically, politically, and socially. It is a term that refers to the fast integration and interdependence of various nations, which shapes the world affairs on a global level. Globalization has affected the products people consume, the environment, culture, security, and idea exchange between different countries. There are many factors that lead to the speedy globalization trends. Factors drive the globalization Globalization is the current strength of business and organization globalization is occurred for the following drivers otherwise globalization cannot achieve the better position in the market. Specially globalization emphasis drivers or factors illustrate under three category that are Market drivers Cost drivers Competition drivers Environmental drivers Market drivers Customer needs and wants is the main concern in the globalization, today market moves to updated service and process, but the organization consider the customer wants and need and they move to purchase the product and service from different area, then geographically every country they haven’t an entire resources, then the organization need a international support to achieve the market position. Global customers are other important factors who determine the international business and globalization, earlier the customers are requires the local product, and their requirement was limited to local but today international organization and multinational organization makes the customer limit into global, then the organization makes the international business and covers global customers as well International channeling and communication is another factor that drive the globalization today, telecommunication services are developed in many factors that makes the globalization into more effective and efficient, basically telecommunication development makes the globalization into effective and efficient. Technology There are many powerful factors of demand changes but the preference factor is technology. Today world is technology world. Technology affects and makes the changes in entire sectors. When the technology will change or update then the less period the organization can evaluate the sign of demand changes. Day to day technology development makes the organization survival into more difficult, but the organization also includes the innovation and create new concept into the business Strengths of market drivers Today a market driver makes the globalization into more effective and efficiency, there are many global areas, and business sector makes the process and business into standard. Specially banking industries, Soft drink industries, automobile industries, computer, aircraft industries are makes the market strength, and many industries uses the globalization to achieve the better position in the market as well. Traditionally and Separate different national markets are merging into one huge global marketplace where the preferences tastes and purchasing behavior of consumers in different nations are starting to converge to some global model. Cost drivers Second major important sector that determine the globalization is cost drivers, basically organization provide more importance for two activities, which are income level and cost, organization used the globalization to increase the income level and reduces the cost. Global scale economics, production different, changing technology, production development cost are the major factors that affect the globalization. Competitive advantages, absolute advantages are mostly consider under the cost drivers. Organization cost and scale of cost determines the globalization, firstly every organization consider the cost, and compare the cost, then the organization moves to less cost product and service, then the organization can increase the profit and income. Cost drivers are makes the activities and process into more better. Being lowers its overall costs by sourcing, manufacturing, and selling aircraft worldwide. Government and environmental factors Government and environmental factors that directly drive the globalization, trade policy is the main concern in the government sectors, every country that have a special government policies, and procedures, then the organization cannot freely provide the service to the market, then the organization must adopt to the government. government policies, and there economy policy decide the globalization activities as well. Government is another factors influence in the demand. Mostly government makes some changes and update in the country ongoing g process. Sometime country government directly influence in demand. Introduce new tariff, Tax holidays, newly product imports, increase or decrease Tax Government awareness programs, provide market ideas to citizen, political inflexible, Government budget deficit and etc. The above government intervention makes the changes in the demand and Government can make every changes so this is the more risky and powerful factors in demand changes Government system and procedures changes are another impact of the globalization. System and procedures changes inform that culture of the organization is different from the others. When government every small changes will makes the system also to be change. Simply government system and procedures are depending in country policy and economy scale., changes in government procedures, include new system, reporting power change, authority structure change, new people arrivals and economy interest rate, inflation rate are the major changes occurs after influence government drivers of globalization. Competitive drivers Every sector face the problem of competition, many academic people argued that the competition is the best sign for the healthy marketing. Today business is customer based business and the customers are king. Organization avoid the customer needs mean that is the major risk to the company. Globalization strategy is the better strategy to faced the competition challenges, Organization faced many problems in the internal and external factors, every organization provide the close competition to the product and service, then the organization need to up-date the product and service, makes the innovation services are more important to the organization, then the organization expand its service and range by day to day and that makes the globalization into more effective and essentials. Advantages and disadvantages of globalization Many years and decades that the above concept under the debates, because the organization and country were received the mixed results on globalization. Many development countries received the positive result from globalizations and developing countries failed to receive the positive result. There are many impacts that occurred from the globalization as follows, Globalization has positive side and negative side to both country and business as well. Specially economy that describes that income level increase, GDP and GNP level increase, market expansion, technology development, innovation and creativity activities, market trend increase, global standard products, quality of the product and service, and etc. But other side of the globalization that describes that country loss their own nature, and cultural impact, increase the poverty, market and resources are highly consumed, environmental impacts, social and individual attitude changes, and etc Advantages of globalization International Trade Today international trade and achieve the better market position are the main concern of international trade. International trade has become wider its possibility with the help of business process outsourcing, purchase and sale of product and service are not the only two transactions involved in international trade. International trade reduce the border of nation to nation and that makes the economy into more strength, specially international business process as well import and export are became huge growth, that impact to income per person and process. GDP and GNP increase is the another milestone advantage to the country and net profit increase, gross profit and profit margin increases are another favourable aspects in the globalization, when international market reduce the tariff, release the tax and other government intervention, then many investors interest to increase the investment in the market. Higher Sales Once product, service or company gets on the radar screen of scenario, it increases chances that consumers will make a purchase. As knowledge becomes a truth, it is also the point where new customers start to extend the word, telling friends and family about this remarkable new product they exposed. Sales will steadily increase as spreads. Without employing marketing strategies, these sales may not have ever happened Healthy Competition Marketing also foster an environment in the marketplace for strong completion. Marketing hard work get the word out on pricing of products and services, this not only reaches the future consumers, but also reaches other companies competing for the consumers’ business. As opposed to companies that have a control on products and services that can blame almost any price, marketing helps keep pricing competitive for a business to try to win over consumers before its competition does. Without competition, well known companies would continue to sell while lesser known companies or new companies would situate little possibility of ever becoming successful. Marketing facilitates the healthy competition that allows small businesses and new businesses to be successful enter and grow in the marketplace Innovation and Intellectual Property The strength of enterprise is able to be seen across the victory stories that characterize many of businesses. The will to be successful even with the chances is what drive to grow businesses from position up, globalization makes the business into more effective and makes the human resource into more effective, that makes the creativity thoughts and innovation. Other favourable advantages of globalization as follows, Channel Execution system and implementation of recognized social media channels (Face book, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Foursquare, YouTube, LinkedIn, Interest and more). Strategy Implementation put into practice and personalizes your social marketing tactic including designing, building and executing social media tactics. Campaign activities generate designs and a satisfied marketing strategy that correspond with a specific campaign or promotional materials. Online Reputation Management make the most of proactive discussion monitoring to assist brands to listen, understand and connect in conversations in social media. Blogger Relations Conduct blogger outreach campaigns to influence the influencers and boost the reach of your messaging. Event Integration integrate social media into events, shows, and conference to increase alertness, word of mouth marketing and contribution Communication Communication and telecommunication development makes the organization process into effective. Today globalization makes the process and procedures into effective. Information technology has played a vital role in bringing the countries closer in terms of communication every single information is easily accessible from almost every corner of the world. The Internet has significantly affected the global economy, thereby providing direct access to information and products. Disadvantages of globalization Loss of Culture Every nation they have separate culture, and that recognize the country, After the globalization not impact on economy but also impact on culture, then that makes negative impact, and another economy cultures that directly influence on local country culture, and economy.. With large number of people migrate into and out of a country. They tend to follow the foreign culture more, forgetting their own roots. This can give rise to cultural conflicts. Monopoly Monopoly is a situation where in only one seller has a say in a particular product or products. It is possible that when a product is the leader in its field, the company may begin to exploit the consumers; the leader takes full advantage of the sale of its product, which may later lead to illegal and unethical practices being followed. Monopoly is disastrous as it widens the gap between the developed and developing countries. Environmental issues Every organization that entered to another economy and operate the business in different countries, then the globalization moves the capital into one place to another place then the organization starts the large investment, then the country or organization mislead the resources, that makes the process into defective. Monopoly Monopoly is a situation where in only one seller has a say in a particular product or products. It is possible that when a product is the leader in its field, the company may begin to exploit the consumers. As there exists no close competitors, the leader takes full advantage of the sale of its product, which may later lead to illegal and unethical practices being followed. Monopoly is disastrous as it widens the gap between the developed and developing countries. Developed countries can suppress development of undeveloped and under-developed countries, then the development countries uses the developing countries for only resource requirement, then the organization or developing countries are not interest in the globalization Economic depression in one country can trigger adverse reaction across the globe. It can increase spread of communicable diseases. Companies face much greater competition. This can put smaller companies, at a disadvantage as they do not have resources to compete at global scale.

Abortion Cases of the 19th Century :: Essays Papers

Abortion Cases of the 19th Century Although abortions were very dangerous, as well as socially unacceptable during the nineteenth century, women were not altogether unable to obtain abortions and many suffered accusations of infanticide. Here I will present a few of the more famous cases from the period, demonstrating the occurrence of abortion, the availability of providers, and the consequences faced by those who necessitated the procedure. One case that dominated the pages of The Revolution, the paper owned by Susan B. Anthony and edited by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Parker Pillsbury, was the sentencing of a young girl to hang for the death of her child. While not a case of abortion, the death was termed an infanticide and drew strong opinions from the public as well as both the editors. The unfortunate Hester Vaughan, an English girl living in Philadelphia, was discovered in a tiny tenement room devoid of furniture February 8, 1868, forty-eight hours after giving birth. Alone during labor, without food or heat, she was found frail and feverish with her baby dead beside her. She was immediately brought to the police and imprisoned, under the assumption that she had killed her child. For thirty dollars, she acquired the services of a lawyer by the name of Goforth and underwent a brief trial. Having never actually confessed to committing the crime, she was nonetheless sentenced to death by County Judge Ludlow, and placed in Moyamensing Prison until her execution. Once news of the case reached the public, the women of The Revolution unleashed their sympathies in article after article denouncing the indictment. In an August 6, 1868 editorial it was written: â€Å" If that poor child of sorrow is hung, it will be deliberate, downright murder. Her death will be far more horrible infanticide than was the killing of her child. She is the child of our society and civilization, begotten and born of it, seduced by it, by the judge who pronounced her sentence, by the bar and jury, by the legislature that enacted the law (in which because a woman, she had no vote or voice), by the church and the pulpit that sanctify the law and deeds, of all these will her blood, yea, and her virtue too, be required! All these were the joint seducer, and now see if by hanging her, they will also become her murderer.† However, Hester never had to face the day of her execution and instead spent nearly two years in jail.

Christianity and Narnia Essay

Christianity is a religion that more than half of our world believes in. It is the belief that Jesus was the Son of God who saved humanity from sin. That Mary the redeemer said yes to God. Christianity is made up of many different parts. The Paschal Mystery which means the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God is what sets Christianity apart from other religions. Christianity has many denominations, for example Mormons, Anglicans, Presbyterian. Christians believe that Jesus lived for humanity, died for humanity, and resurrected for humanity. Christ is percepted in many different ways; he is depicted as the Son of God who died for humans on the cross. Over one third of the world is Christians, but nearly 75% of the world celebrates traditions which only Christians believe in. An example of this would be Easter. Easter is when Jesus died for humans on the cross, but nowadays non-believers celebrate it and is treated as a public holiday. This shows how important Christianity is to humans, and also to the world. In the Bible, Jesus was first mentioned in the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament. He was depicted as the son of God. Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign:  The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son,  and will call him Immanuel. ’Jesus’s name was not mentioned. Isaiah’s prophecy was then fulfilled in the gospel of Luke. ‘Was born of a virgin named Mary’ (Luke 1:26-31). Also Jesus had performed many great miracles. Jesus performed the changing of the water to win at the wedding at Cana. ‘7  Jesus said to the servants  Ã¢â‚¬Å"Fill the jars with water†; so they filled them to the brim. 8  then he told them,  Ã¢â‚¬Å"Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet. † This is the gospel of John 2:7-8. Christians believe Jesus was fully divine and human. Which was why when Jesus was nailed to the cross, the pain he felt was the pain humans would have felt as well. Jesus was crucified on the cross because it was the common way to die. Christians pray and sing hymns praising the Lord. They commonly sing the song ‘I say Yes’ This has the meaning of Mary saying yes to the angel Gabriel to be the mother of Jesus Christ. In the song it has the phrase ‘To the God who cannot die’. This is interpreted in the meaning that God will always be there. He is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. During church, before epiclesis when transubstantion has not yet occurred. The Memorial Acclamation is read to show what Jesus had given up before he was crucified and to show how important the epiclesis is. ‘To do this in the memory of him’. Every year in the month of May, Christians read the Angelus because it is the month of Mary. In the angelus, the Hail Mary is read. A verse in that passage is ‘Pray for us’. That Mary, our redeemer will continue to look over us as she had once done with Jesus. A perfect example of how Christians have continued to spread the word of God and believed is C.S Lewis. He had written a series of books which relate to the belief of Jesus. A quote he had once said was ‘I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. ’This is a very strong quote because he had continued to live and carry out God’s mission. In the Catechism, CCC 600 it states ‘Lamb of God takes away the Sin of the world’ this is how the Roman Church interpreted Jesus and his teachings. The Lamb of God is Jesus because Jesus is commonly interpreted and depicted as a lamb. Through this Christians carry out acts which follow these teachings. This helps people understand how important Christianity is to the world. It shows what Christians believe and how they show this through their actions. There are many stories and movies which have been written to portray the life of Jesus and the belief of Christianity. One of the many is Narnia by C. S Lewis. This movie and book series stands out because it has many subtle and prominent links between Christianity and Narnia. C. S Lewis was inspired to write the Narnia book series after his ‘mental religious wars’. He converted from a protestant to an atheist then to a Christian (catholic) and is now known as one of the most inspirational theologists. C. S Lewis slipped in and added many subtle symbols. For example, during the scene when Susan and Peter went into the Professor’s study, the notebook on his table was in the shape of an apple. This symbolises Original Sin. The apple shows the relationship between God and Humanity. How evil had come into the world. Narnia is a story with 4 main characters Edmund, Susan, Lily and Peter. C. S Lewis used the characters of Susan and Lily as Eve, and Edmund and Peter as the Sons of Adam. When the children had first gone into the Land of Narnia, we are first introduced to them being as the sons and daughters of Eve and Adam. There are three types of sins in the world, Original Sin, Social Sin and Personal Sin. Social Sin is depicted in Narnia through the White Witch. Narnia is set in a land where it is winter. It is depicted as the season of winter because it symbolises dark and evil. Because of the White Which. In the shots where Aslan is present, the land of Narnia is spring. It is as if Narnia Is released and freed from evil. Personal Sin is depicted in Narnia through Edmund. Aslan, the lion performed many miracles in the series of Narnia. When the White Witch had frozen the thorns and people to stone, Aslan blew on them to unfreeze them. This is a very big miracle of him. Jesus had also performed many miracles in his lifetime. ,  6  After saying this, he spit  on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7  Ã¢â‚¬Å"Go,†Ã‚  he told him,  Ã¢â‚¬Å"wash in the Pool of Siloam†. So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. This is the gospel of John 9:6-7. Jesus too also performed strange and powerful miracles to help others. In the book Narnia, C.S Lewis quotes from Aslan as King ‘Aslan as everywhere’ to ‘He will be back’. C. S Lewis had many inspirations to write the book. One of the many was when his wife was cured of cancer but then later died. Despite her dying, he had continued on the write the books. In the book of Catechism, CCC 977, it says that Christ who died for our sin and rose for us so we may walk in the fullness of life. This is what the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church believes what Christ is and what human life is about. In CCC 1708, ‘by his Passion, Christ delivered us from Satan and from sin. He merited for us the new life in the Holy Spirit. His grace restores what sin had damaged in us. ’ These are what they Catholics believe what Christ did and how it affected humanity as a whole and how sin had damaged us. Christians can follow and learn about the life and times of Jesus Christ and the origins of Christianity through reading the books and watching the movies of Narnia. This is relevant to the religion Christianity because the book and film Narnia had incorporated many symbols to show Catholicism. This helps Christians understand their religion and how it had started.

Bitter Rivals Henry Cabot Lodge and Woodrow Wilson essays

Bitter Rivals Henry Cabot Lodge and Woodrow Wilson essays Bitter Rivals: Woodrow Wilson and Henry Cabot Lodge Political rivalries define American government. The dual-party system by nature sets up partisan rivalries between members of all three branches of our government rivalries that have at times pushed our government to progress and at other times slowed it to a grinding halt. The contrasting backgrounds and resulting political ideologies of Woodrow Wilson and Henry Cabot Lodge created a modern rivalry that defined American foreign policy in the twentieth century. Woodrow Wilsons religious background and academic pursuits shaped his personality into one characterized by impatience. Born in Virginia in 1856, Wilson grew up around strict Calvinist doctrine in the Presbyterian church (Lafeber 269-270). This theology served as the foundation for all of Wilsons endeavors, as he believed he was guided by Gods will (Lafeber 270). The future Presidents first career path was law, but Wilsons inability to excel in the field bred in him distaste for the profession. Wilson hastily abandoned any thoughts of being a lawyer and pursued an academic career in political science. His refusal to give his law profession time to prosper represents a larger trend in Wilsons behavior of acting rashly when faced with adversity. Despite this impatience, he quickly rose to a high level of respect as a political scientist while attending Princeton University (Lafeber 269). Wilsons faith in God, bred from his Calvinist upbringing, further fueled his impatient pe rsonality as he believed that God would eventually guide him in the right direction if he made efforts to improve (Lafeber 270). This impatience defined most of Wilsons political philosophies and foreign policies. Like Wilson, Henry Cabot Lodges educational background shaped his views toward American foreign policy. His family instilled in Lodge conservat...

Philosophy of Food - An Authentic Approach to Eating

Philosophy of Food - An Authentic Approach to Eating A good philosophical question can arise from anywhere. Did you ever think, for example, that sitting down to dinner or strolling through the supermarket might serve as a good introduction to philosophical thinking? That is the foremost philosopher of food’s credo. What’s Philosophical About Food? Philosophy of food finds its basis on the idea that food is a mirror. You may have heard the saying ‘we are what we eat.’ Well, there is more to say regarding this relation. Eating mirrors the making of a self, that is, the array of decisions and circumstances that bring us to eat the way we do. In them, we can see reflected a detailed and comprehensive image of ourselves. Philosophy of food reflects on the ethical, political, social, artistic, identity-defining aspects of food. It spurs from the challenge to more actively pondering our diets and eating habits so as to understand who we are in a deeper, more authentic way. Food as a Relation Food is a relation. Something is food only with respect to some organism, in a set of circumstances. These, first of all, are bound to vary from moment to moment. For instance, coffee and pastry are a fine breakfast or afternoon snack; yet, to most of us they are unpalatable for dinner. Secondly, circumstances are bound to involve principles that are, at least in appearance, contradictory. Say, you refrain from eating soda at home, but at the bowling alley, you enjoy one. At the supermarket, you buy only non-organic meat, but on vacation, you crave for a McBurger with fries. As such, any given ‘food relation is first and foremost the mirror of an eater: depending on the circumstances, it represents the eater’s needs, habits, convictions, deliberations, and compromises. Food Ethics Probably the most obvious philosophical aspects of our diet are the ethical convictions that shape it. Would you eat a cat? A rabbit? Why or why not? It’s likely that the reasons you give for your stance are rooted in ethical principles, such as: â€Å"I love too much cats to eat them!† or even â€Å"How could you do such a thing!† Or, consider vegetarianism: a large number of those who conform to this diet do so to prevent unjustified violence being done to animals other than human. In Animal Liberation, Peter Singer labeled â€Å"speciesism† the attitude of those who draw unjustified distinctions between Homo sapiens and other animal species (like racism sets an unjustified distinction between one race and all others). Clearly, some of those rules are mingled with religious principles: justice and heaven can come together on the table at, as they do on other occasions. Food as Art? Can food be art? Can a cook ever aspire to be an artist on a par with Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Van Gogh? This question has spurred heated debates over the past years. Some argued that food is (at best) a minor art. For three main reasons. First, because foods are short-lived in comparison to, e.g., chunks of marble. Second, food is intrinsically linked to a practical purpose – nourishment. Third, food depends on its material constitution in a way in which music, painting, or even sculpture are not. A song such as â€Å"Yesterday† has been released on vinyl, cassette, CD, and as a mp3; food cannot be alike transferred. The best cooks would hence be very good artisans; they can be paired with fancy hairdressers or skilled gardeners. On the other hand, some think that this perspective is unfair. Cooks have recently started featuring in art shows and this seems to concretely disprove the previous remarks. Probably the most famous case in point is Ferran Adri, the Catalan chef who revolutionized the world of cooking over the past three decades. Food Experts Americans keep in high esteem the role of food experts; French and Italians notoriously do not. Probably, it’s because of different ways to regard the practice of evaluation of a food. Is that French onion soup authentic? The review says the wine is elegant: is that the case? Food or wine tasting is arguably an entertaining activity, and it’s a conversation starter. Yet, is there a truth when it comes to judgments about food? This is one of the hardest philosophical questions. In his famous essay â€Å"Of the Standard of Taste†, David Hume shows how one can be inclined to answer both â€Å"Yes† and â€Å"No† to that question. On the one hand, my tasting experience is not yours, so it is totally subjective; on the other, provided an adequate level of expertise, there is nothing odd with imagining to challenge a reviewer’s opinion about a wine or a restaurant. Food Science Most foods we buy at the supermarket carry on their labels â€Å"nutritional facts†. We use them in order to guide ourselves in our diet, to stay healthy. But, what do those numbers have to do really with the stuff we have in front of us and with our stomachs? What â€Å"facts† do they help us establishing really? Can nutritionism be regarded as a natural science on a par with – say – cell biology? For historians and philosophers of science, food is a fertile terrain of research because it raises basic questions regarding the validity of laws of nature (do we really know any law regarding metabolism?) and the structure of scientific research (who finances the studies on the nutritional facts you find on the labels?) Food Politics Food is also at the center of a number of funding questions for political philosophy. Here are some. One. The challenges that food consumption poses to the environment. For example, did you know that factory farming is responsible for a higher rate of pollution than airfare travel? Two. Food trades raise issues of fairness and equity in the global market. Exotic goods such as coffee, tea, and chocolate are chief examples: through the history of their commerce, we can reconstruct the complex relationships between continents, States, and people over the past three-four centuries. Three. Food production, distribution, and retail is an opportunity to talk about the condition of workers across the earth. Food and Self-Understanding In the end, as the average person enters at least a few ‘food relations’ per day, a refusal to ponder eating habits in a meaningful manner can be likened to a lack of self-understanding or lack authenticity. Since self-understanding and authenticity are among the chief aims of philosophical inquiry, then food becomes a true key to philosophical insight. The gist of the philosophy of food is hence the quest for an authentic diet, a quest that can be readily furthered by analyzing other aspects of ‘food relations’.

Online Versus Offline Phone Accessories Sales Dissertation

Online Versus Offline Phone Accessories Sales - Dissertation Example The purpose of the study was to establish the level of sales that can be realized for both online and offline phone accessories dealers in UK. Data for the study was collected through questionnaires that were given to 50 participants. The participants were 18 years and above. The study findings showed that despite various challenges that were encountered by numerous participants, information relative to the level of sales was obtained. In addition, there was a positive correlation established between the level of income and the sales level. On a similar note, the study revealed that there is a positive relation between the level of online and offline sales and both short and long-term positive effects attributed to the overall economic growth. Further, study indicated a positive correlation between the price index and the money circulation constraints, which poses a big challenge for those aspiring to own phone accessories businesses. In essence, the results indicate that the variati ons in financing constraints have only limited results on phone accessories sales prices. In the case of the retailers who are poor, the effect of calming down the borrowing challenge on the cost of accessories will be absorbed by the exchange of own phone accessories businesses into public own businesses. Analysis and processing of data involved a number of operations performed with the aim of summarizing the data collected and organizing them to answer the questions of the research (Menard 2008).

Surrealist Elements in Contemporary Art Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Surrealist Elements in Contemporary Art - Essay Example According to the essay "Surrealist Elements in Contemporary Art" findings, Burgert’s piece reveals the aftermath of an urban incident, the multiple incidents within the painting creating a narrative that tells a multitude of stories, similar to the Bosch piece, but creates the colorful story that is similar to Nash. The nature of the event is not realistic, which places the narrative and the depicted events. The piece by Nash was created at the beginning of the Surrealism movement, his work depicting fairly realistic events in an unrealistic manner. The term Surrealism was coined by Guillaume Apollinaire in 1917, placing the work of Nash occurring within that next year. However, much of Burgert’ pieces can be seen to be related to other works of the Surrealist period. The work of Burgert â€Å"seems to be the drama of the new world order†. The work is created with a sense of theater, the pieces staged to have a narrative that is dramatic and with a poignancy that is both explicit and realistic, but set in a world of color and arrangements of size, shape, and elements that come straight from the dream plane. The work consists of elements that depict the human form as it is stressed, and grotesque. The use of it stretched to the limits of the macabre in order to express the nature of a world gone mad within its own mechanizations. Burgert’s piece Vorkampfer, 2004 presents the image of a monkey with smaller skeletons that appear to cling as children to the image. The creature has a flag in his hand.
